What Is Shamanism?

Energy healing is a part of my job I enjoy very much. I first received Shamanic Healing in 2014 and it helped to transform my personal life, particularly around my career.  This was so profound that it inspired me to train at https://www.shamaniccentre.com/ three years later.

Visiting a shamanic healer has helped me shift self limiting beliefs, increase self awareness and heal from difficult life events. It’s important to note, this does also involve putting in personal effort outside sessions. It’s just that shamanism helps to create necessary, and sometimes uncomfortable, energetic shifts that, in turn, may help create life changing experiences. It’s also important you work with an intention, so that the session stays relevant, you align with your goals and do not receive information you are not ready for.

But what is Shamanism? It rose from ancient tribes to meet the needs of the people and is based on helping the community to survive. It originates from the Evinki people of Siberia and spread to other parts of the world. This cross cultural, spiritual practice can be found in every continent. The essence of Shamanism is compassion and the belief that all life is connected; the elements, plants, people, animals, land, earth and sky. Everything embodies a spirit and all that is alive is connected by these spirits.

A Shamanic Practitioner changes their state of consciousness at will to travel or journey to another reality or realm to obtain knowledge.

These unseen realms are filled with vibrant energy that can heal and empower us in ordinary reality.  The Shamanic practitioner works to remove negative or disharmonious energy patterns that may disrupt the way we think, feel and behave. This in turn can help to improve the health of individuals, communities and the planet

Modern Living places a focus on gaining satisfaction through material wealth and objects.  We believe that these things will make us feel “complete”. Many people focus only on this tangible, 2D realm and feel that something is “missing” in life.  True happiness, healing and wealth can be sought if we learn to connect with invisible worlds. Shamanic healing and ceremonial practices can help us to find purpose, meaning in life and our creative potential.
